Why, When And How To Get A MoT Test Certificate
The MoT test (Ministry Of Transport)or simply MoT is an annual test of vehicles to ensure their safety, roadworthiness and exhaust emissions for the vehicles that are more than three years old. In certain places, it may be four years of a gap for the vehicles to go through the MoT test. However, MoT test is not applicable to vehicles that are used only on small islands with no proper connection to a road in any part of Great Britain. The MoT test was first introduced in 1960 with only a few basic tests of a vehicle but later it became an important examination where 20 different parts or systems on or in the car is being tested and verified for greater safety. These certificates are issued in Great Britain under the sponsorship of the Driver And Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
